Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us
what we need to know. Pema Chodron
GETTING STARTED: I am not currently taking new clients. Please contact me after July 4th, 2021 to check my availability. Thank you!
To schedule an appointment, please call 206-407-3256 or you can contact me via email using my contact form.
During our initial meeting, we will discuss why you are seeking psychotherapy and how we might work together to meet your therapeutic goals. This initial meeting is a time for us to get acquainted and to assess whether we are “a good fit.” The cost of the initial meeting is $50, due at the end of the session.
My fees are $125 for a 50-minute session. I see a limited number of clients on a sliding scale ranging from $50-$100. Please check with me to see if I currently have sliding scale slots available. It is up to you to decide what you are able to pay. All payments are due at the end of each session.
I currently accept Kaiser Permanent insurance. You’ll need a referral from your primary care provider. Please contact me if you would like to pursue this option. Otherwise, I am an out-of-network insurance provider, which means I do not accept insurance directly, but can provide invoices for you to submit to your insurance company.
For grief counseling, when the death has been within one year, the first visit is free of charge. We will discuss your situation and see if individual grief counseling will fit your needs. After that, services are fee-based.
Please plan your time so we can begin and end our session at the scheduled time. If for some reason I am late beginning the session, I will make up the time with you.If we make an appointment, I will hold that space for you. If you need to cancel a session, please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice. If you do not contact me to cancel, you will be charged for the missed session.
Please note that I cannot guarantee but will use reasonable means to maintain security and confidentiality of email and text information sent and received. I use best practices to safeguard all communication that takes place outside my office, but it is important that clients acknowledge the risk associated with every form of electronic communication.
